The neighborhood winds around the golf course, allowing for maximum number of homes that face the golf course. The private club also offers tennis, swim and fitness, along with a full range of dining options.

The country club is split into two sections by Johnston Road. To the north east and west are offices and plenty of shopping and eating establishments. The world renowned Dana Rader Golf School is located a stone’s throw from the course next to the Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge.

While golf course and facilities are some of the best in Charlotte, it’s the shopping that brings the most people to the Ballantyne area. More than a half dozen large shopping centers are just minutes away from the country club and offer and array of box stores, grocery stores, boutiques and dozens of dining options from fast food, to four star restaurants.

The proximity to I-485 means easy access to downtown Charlotte, the airport, and Interstate 85, and South Park Mall is just five miles north.
