This is an attractive neighborhood for those who want very little yard work or are looking for a great starter home with convenience of shopping and good schools close-by.
Cornerstone Park is a community of 330 homes built on Ebenezer Chuch Road, just off Hwy I-440 and Hwy 70 Glenwood Ave. Built within city limits, it's first houses were constructed in 2002. They average 1800 sq ft in size on smaller lots, 0.06 to 0.17 acres.

Cornerstone Park developers left some greenway areas along the main roads in the community, and there is a big lake that offers some scenic views for a few of the higher-end homes in the neighborhood. But for the most part, there are very few mature trees on homesites and homes are very close in proximity to each other. The cul-da-sacs and waterfront lots are the premium lots in all areas of the neighborhood.
Amenities include swim club and family activity club, sidewalks and play areas. There is an active HOA with dues on the more pricey side of $100 per month (as of January 2010) which are collected to cover maintenance costs of streets, streetlights, sidewalks, clubhouse and common areas.
Schools that serve Cornerstone Park are Brier Creek Elementary, Leesville Middle and Leesville High. The neighborhood is conveniently located for quick access to two major routes in Raleigh - I540 and Hwy 70. A trip to the RDU International Airport or RTP business park is approximately 15 minutes, local hospitals are comfortably close.
