Ganyard Farm is a relatively new community in southeast Durham County.  The community is bordered by Wake Forest Highway (Route 98), South Miam Blvd., and  Mineral Springs Road.  This small community is great for young families and first-time home-buyers.  The community has mostly single family homes, but also has an array of townhomes.

Homes in this neighborhood range in price from $100,000 to $200,000, with the townhomes being in the lower price range.  Homes in this Centex Homes community have all been built since 2005, so they are all fresh and almost new. The community has a playground and pond, which often has ducks flying-in and enjoying themselves.

Ganyard Farm announced in late 2009 that they expected all new homes to be sold in time for all buyers to benefit from the Home-Buyer's tax credits offered by The Federal Government.

Ganyard Farms is 15 minutes to downtown Durham, 15 minutes to Research Triangle, 20 minutes to Raleigh-Durham International Aiport, 20 minutes to Duke University Medical Center and Duke's West Campus.  It is 25 minutes to downtown Raleigh.
