The Montibello subdivision in South Charlotte has long been a destination for those looking for large, upscale homes in a quiet, traditional neighborhood setting. Located between Carmel and Colony Roads, the neighborhood is adjacent to the the prestigious Carmel Country Club, one of South Charlotte’s most popular private golf courses.

The variety of homes in Montibello is expected for a neighborhood which has evolved since the 1970s. Several homes have recently listed for as much as $1.5 million, but the majority of the homes are between $500,000 and $750,000 for a 3,000-5,000 square foot layout.

The upscale quality of the homes and neighborhood mirrors the community that surrounds it. In addition to Carmel Country Club, the ultra-exclusive Quail Hollow County Club is just a mile away, and several of Charlotte’s best private schools are located within the area.

Across the street from the entrance of Montibello is the quaint Olde Town Shopping Center with a full-service Harris Teeter grocery store, a CVS pharmacy, Starbucks and McCallister’s Deli. If you are looking for a larger shopping experience, Montibello is just minutes from South Park Mall, North Carolina’s most upscale shopping district, and Carolina Place Mall located just south in Pineville.

There are also dozens of dining options including fine dining in the South Park area, and national chains in the Pineville area.
