Northgate Park is an older Durham community on West Club Boulevard in old North Durham. The neighborhood surrounds a beautiful city park, with multiple playgrounds, a creek that runs through the large park. The park is filled with beautiful old oak trees.

Northgate Park is an older Durham community on West Club Boulevard in old North Durham. The neighborhood surrounds a beautiful city park, with multiple playgrounds, a creek that runs through the large park, tennis courts and large grounds for playing games, picnicking, walking dogs, jogging or biking. The park also has grills, fountains and shelter buildings. Entrance to the park is well marked by signs.
The Northgate Park area has large lots and modest homes. Most of the homes were built from the late 1940's through the 1960's, giving the neighborhood a quaint and friendly feel. Duke Park homes include Mill homes, bungalows and single story ranch homes are most common in this neighborhood.
Northgate Park is within walking distance of The Edison Johnson recreation center (swimming pool, indoor basketball and other recreational activities and a short drive to the wonderful Museum of Life and Science.
The community is 5 minutes from North Duke Mall, 10 minutes to downtown Durham, 15 minutes to Duke University and The Duke Medical Center, and 10 minutes from Durham Regional Hospital. It is 20 minutes from Research Triangle Park and 25 minutes to Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
