The Palisades is one of the Charlotte area’s most unique, and exclusive housing developments. Located on Southwest Charlotte, the community features palatial homes along Lake Wylie, and enough amenities to fit the discerning tastes of just about anyone.

The community features homes that range from the low $300,000s up to $1 million and more for a palatial 9,000 square foot home.

The Palisades Amenities

Located off York Road in the southwest section of Charlotte, The Palisades is a community in itself, with a world class equestrian center, a large pool area, pro-style tennis facilities and seven miles of trails for walking, running or biking.

The golf course was designed by Jack Nicholas and weaves its way through out the community. There is also a soccer complex, fitness clubs, boating clubs and an episcopal school all located within the confines of the development.

While The Palisades offers about anything one could want in a neighborhood, there are also plenty of shopping options close by. Just a few miles up York Road, you’ll find the convienence of several grocery stores, Target, Best Buy and more than a dozen dining options from BBQ, to fine dining, to coffee shops.

With Interstate 485 just minutes away, the vast shopping options of the Pineville area is just a short drive away. Downtown Charlotte is also a little more than 10 minutes away. Here you will not only find Charlotte’s best restaurants, but many cultural and shopping options as well.
