Set among the rolling hills and country settings is the neighborhood of Prescot.  It is a quiet community about 3 miles from historic downtown Waxhaw, which one will find many restaurants and quaint little shops for browsing antiques and more.

Homes for sale in Prescot range from $160,000 to $250,000. Originally there were 2 models and 5 floor plans available.  It appears a few more builders have entered the neighborhood offering more styles and features.  There a single story and 2-story homes for sales.  In the rear of the Prescot community, there is an abundance of new home construction.  Most homes range in size from 1,500 to 4,000 square feet and are full brick or brick front in traditional styles.

Prescot is inconveniently located close to Lancaster, SC and Charlotte, NC.  Within a 20 mile range are several shopping areas, fine dining and entertainment venues.  The location is convenient to most anything one would desire including the highly ranking Union County schools. 

Prescot offers on-site amenities including a pool, tennis courts, a clubhouse and walking trails.

*Please ask a Realtor about the current financial state of Prescot as of 2010 they were facing some challenging times.  It seems with the new builders, the situation my have taken a turn for the better but certainly consult a Realtor when considering a home.
