South Lakes is Fuquay-Varina's first master-planned community and features homes from several of the top builders in the area - Preservation Homes, Biltmore Homes, and Impact Design-Build.

One of the incredible attractions of South Lakes is that its homes are designed in partnership with Alexander Julian. The community features cottage and bungalow style homes with attractive designer color schemes. Creekside Cottages within South Lakes are unique cottage-style homes with 1318 to 2000 square feet and prices beginning in the upper $160s. The builder, Impact Design-Build, is offering limited pre-sale incentives including appliances and help with closing costs.

South Lakes is split by a 30-acre lake that is fully stocked, as well as 4 other smaller stocked lakes. There are over 120 acres of open space and greenways.
